The development of SURAJ open terminal blocks follows the most recent developments in terminal block design. PBT, or high-grade polybutylene terephthalate, is the insulating foundation material. PBT is a material that is unbreakable, non-hygroscopic, highly insulating resistant, and able to endure high impulse voltages.
High electrical grade phenol formaldehyde resin (Bakelite), which has a very high capacity to tolerate high voltage spikes and insulation, is used to make 100A terminal blocks. Superior grade copper alloys with the ideal ratio of copper to zinc are used to make the electrical conductors, resulting in low temperature rise and little transmission loss of electric current within predetermined bounds.
Brass and stainless steel 304 grade are also available as custom options for the high tensile mild steel screws and washers. The mild steel screws underwent zinc passivation, utilizing a particular grade of zinc that is resistant to corrosion even under extreme conditions for extended periods of time. Bright nickel is applied on brass screws.
